A second Pledge Manager session will be open from September 13th to October 11th.
Those backers who did not complete their pledge manager already will have the opportunity to redeem their pledge and cover the shipping costs. Moreover, new backers will have the chance to join our community thanks to the late pledge.
However, there is also bad news we have to share with you.
We are very sorry to inform you that the delivery of Pathfinder Arena will be delayed by six months from the scheduled delivery date of November 2022, with a final date of May 2023. We sincerely apologize for this delay because we know you are eagerly waiting to play our game. Nevertheless, some internal and external factors force us to take more time and ask you for more patience.
Firstly, throughout the Kickstarter campaign, we received many useful feedbacks, such as the request for a Solo/Coop mode and the miniatures’ resize. Naturally, we welcomed all of them and are working hard to implement them. But it takes more than expected to give you the quality standard we want.
The Solo/Coop mode required more work than planned because of the various improvements and additions. It required the development of a new game that needed rearranging the multiple add-ons already created. Nevertheless, we are delighted with the result because it doubles and enriches the game experience and because this mode is fully compatible with almost all the add-ons we created.
More specifically, this version of the game is NOT compatible with:
– The event cards contained in The Final Challenge expansion.
– The Pit Fiend contained in The Final Challenge expansion
– The Dragonshard Guardians contained in the Age of Ashes expansion
In addition, we have resized the already finished miniatures to make them compatible with others from the Pathfinder series and major role-playing games on the market.
Secondly, we have had several delays due to the difficult international situation. Our manufacturing partners are located in China, which made and makes communication and logistical management of the project difficult.
Thirdly, to facilitate all those who had not been able to finalize the purchase during the first session, we added a second Pledge Manager session with a much larger time window.
Even though this also contributed to the delay, we prefer to slightly postpone the shipment of the game with the assurance that we do not only will be able to provide you with the most complete and enjoyable version of Pathfinder Arena but we will also be sure that we did not leave anybody behind.
We look forward to seeing you play!
