Set during the Julius Caesar’s De Bello Gallico, in Provincia Romana each player is the head of an important city in the Roman Province in southern Gallia (Forum Julii, Arelate, Loupian, Tolosa, Narbo Martius, Massilia), scene of the raids of Vercingetorix in 52 b.C. The game’s goal is to gain the highest value of Prestige points, building the largest and most prosperous city.
You can gain Prestige points through the activation of contacts with Rome (Senatus cards) and money. But the best way to reach the most Prestige points is to rich your town with great and incredibile buildings for the greatness of Rome such us the Colosseum, the Circus Maximum or the Forum.
At game’s end the player who has the most Prestige points wins and will be nominated Proconsul of the Province.
